Continuing Education
As a Community member you will have access to free CE training opportunities* that will allow you to obtain the 12 CE hours required for license renewal. This will include access to the mandatory update course too.
* Opportunities for free CE’s will be provided throughout the year. It’s up to the member to take advantage of these courses

Questions we get most often
Are CE's offered Online ?
We are actively working on developing an online course catalog which we hope to release soon. For now, all CE courses are offered In-Person or through live streaming. You can check out the schedule and available formats on our continuing education page.
Are CE's only offered in Charlotte ?
While the Charlotte area is our home base for home inspector training, Our In-person CE training will focus on the Charlotte, Raleigh, Asheville, Wilmington and Greensboro regions to bring training closer to the local communities. When training sessions are added we will let you know here on the website, via the members-only Facebook group, our member newsletter, and other platforms.
How often will CE's be offered ?
Opportunities for in-person Continuing Education will be offered periodically through out the year. These will be individual classes or a comprehensive bundled session where you can knock out all your CE requirements at one time. To get the maximum benefit from your membership it’s up to you to take advantage of these opportunities.
What about the Update Course ?
As part of your Inspector Community membership, the mandatory NC Home Inspector Update Course is included. You don’t have to worry about getting your update credits somewhere else.
What if I get my credits elsewhere ?
As a Community member, you are welcome to get your continuing education credits anywhere you would like. But keep in mind that included with your membership will include opportunities to take community sponsored courses.
Can I cancel my Membership ?
We don’t want to see you go, but we also understand that a Community membership may not be a great fit for everyone. Memberships may be canceled and refunds are given only if you haven’t taken any of our continuing education courses and your membership started or renewed within the last 60 days.
